Dr. Albert Retodo

Dr. Albert Retodo was born in Akron Ohio, but moved to the San Francisco Bay Area at a very early age. He was raised in Hayward, California and attended All Saints School through the elementary and junior high years, and Moreau High School through the high school years.
He attended college at the University of California Davis and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education/Biomechanics in 1992.
Dr. Retodo received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of the East, Philippines in 1998.
He finished his medical residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the East Carolina University- Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina in June 2005.
Dr. Retodo completed Fellowship training in Electrodiagnosis, Pain Management, Sports Medicine, and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in August 2006 under the expertise of respected physiatrist, Marko Bodor, MD, in Napa, CA. He became a board certified Diplomate for the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2006.
Some of the professional associations that Dr. Retodo is associated with include the American Medical Association, Association of Academic Physiatrists, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Physiatric Association of Spine Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Pain Society, American College of Sports Medicine, and the Philippine Medical Society of Northern California.
