Medium Resistance
So I have a high amp battery ((110 ahours) @ 12 volts running through a media amp fuse (~ 80)?
We've noticed that when We join a small load in this configuration, the fuse blows, but when we connect a large load, like a computer, it does not. Is it because of V = IR. The large load of great resistance and therefore current must be small. And conversely, when the load is small, must be continuously high in order to achieve a constant voltage. Can any further explanation, refute this hypothesis? Thank you.
The word "load" generally means the total wattage drawn by an entity. If you have a heavy burden for a particular voltage, you should have a great power. A small load would have a small stream. A fuse is suppose to be able to keep 80% of the rating indefinitely. If you have a 80 amp security in the 12 volts and you should be able to drive a load of about 768 watts continuously. Either the "small" load plug has a map in it, or maybe it's supposed to run the AC. Make sure all your loads will run from 12 VDC.
