How to connect the main unit belt?
I have a 94 Dodge Shadow Ace, and I'm joining a new stereo head unit, but Im not sure where to connecting wire to the battery continuously, and the ignition switch? also, it is imperative to remove all the single loop? I have the chart. Everything is simple other than the fact that Im not sure where the battery constantly hookhar up and ignition switch hook up is. & Factory stereo has 2 belts, which were connected.
Send the constant wire directly to the positive terminal of the battery, and be sure to fuse it. With regard to wire to the ignition, take a multimeter or voltmeter, place the negative side to negative on battery or soil the vehicle. Turn the ignition on and look for a signal on one of the wires from the old belt. When you get a signal keep it plugged in and turn the ignition off to see if the signal drops. (you can get across the constant thread. You can use this if you will). An alternative way is to send both lines for the continuous stream, if you wish. This way you can use your sound without turning on the ignition (this is what I have done as I run electronic pump, feul management, MSD, etc etc off the ignition). Dont go with the secondary connector, because there is always accurate and can be costly and confusing (even for a sexy lady like yourself. dont want to break a nail now p).
