Magnetic Resistance
Can not figure out how to adjust the resistance on my exercise bike ... help!?
I have an older model Proform 900L and I can not find any info or a user manual for it online. a model that seems similar, there is something called SMR Silent Magnetic Resistance (what is this?) Anyone who has a clue?
You can not find a resistance adjustment because there is no. Magnetic resistance automatically based on the speed you pedal, the faster you pedal the greater the magnetic field generated trying to slow you down. This is a very flexible form of resistance, and it is doubtful that one could even say that it does, because there is no "drag". This type of resistance is much preferred over the friction type, because it is so smooth and far more effective when the equipment is used to its potential.
